The planned renovations for Cleveland Hopkins International Airport lack a focal point. I have seen the video and slide presentation of the proposed upgrade and, after looking at the changes, I think they are ... nice. Pleasant. But not memorable.
A modern airport terminal has become the front door to many major cities. An enjoyable experience can reduce stress and instantly form positive opinions. Ideally, the renovations should also say, “Welcome to Cleveland.”
